Job Qualifications: ✨
-Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment.
-1+ years of imaging experience (preferably radio frequency, X-ray portables, C-Arms, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, etc.)
-Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
-3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training.
Job Responsibilities: ✨
-Under direct supervision, this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, system, and instruments.
-Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems.
-Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.
-Provides advanced support of equipment for direct patient care.
-Solves organization-level customer service issues and complaints.
-Ability to analyze electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment.
-Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections.
-Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests.
-Ability to run diagnostic programs.
-Ensures regulatory compliance.
-Demonstrates a safety mindset.
-Financial responsibility for purchasing parts and service.
-Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
-Ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices with limited supervision.
-Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required.
-Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
-Knowledge of basic networking theory
-Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards
-Knowledge of safety precautions when servicing high voltages and working with ionizing radiation
-Skills in testing electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment
-Skills in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision.
-Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
