Job Qualifications: ✨
-Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry -or- High School Diploma / GED equivalent combined with experience.
-1+ years industrial experience in a laboratory environment is required.
-Willing and able to work overtime or shift hours to cover absences, sometimes on short notice.
-Willing and able to wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments.
-Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
-Good observational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail, including the use of computer-based spreadsheets.
Job Responsibilities: ✨
-Schedule: Days alternate; hours: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.
Example:
Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
-Analysis of production and raw material samples for conformance with specifications using standard operating or non-routine procedures.
-Make up and standardize chemical solutions used in the laboratory, concentrations, or formulations required in special tests.
-Calibration and daily qualification of laboratory equipment.
-Communicate results effectively to stakeholders and other interested parties.
-Exhibit sound EH&S practices.
-Proper use of PPE, understanding process safety concerns in your laboratory area, and reporting EH&S incidents.
