Job Description:✨
- The QA Manager supervises the Quality Compliance Manager and the Follow Up Team.
- Coordinates ongoing development and implementation of an effective quality program for the agency.
- In cooperation with management and all associated regulatory agencies, and in compliance with agency standards, continues to develop and track agency-wide quality indicators to monitor each program’s effectiveness.
- Works closely with executive Leadership and management teams to assure interdepartmental cohesiveness.
- Keeps COO informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of agency goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line staff level.
- Oversees the preparation of QA Plans; reviews outcome data; works collaboratively with outside agencies on conjoint Quality Improvement and accountability projects.
- Responsible for implementation of key processes, which may include, quality, regulatory and risk management functions: Quality Reviews, State Reports, Performance Analysis, Peer Review, and other accreditation, Risk Management, Quality Project issues.
- Oversees compilation and maintenance of trend reporting and quality data in all areas of the organization, from client care to administration.
- Supports operations in continuous improvement initiatives by providing direction on process validation / verification requirements for proposed changes.
- Demonstrates an understanding of agency policies and procedures, as well as compliance standards and authoritative requirements for programs and documentation.
- Ensures that all treatment services policies and procedures are updated and meet standards and requirements.
- Works with clinical and medical management staff to develop and implement procedures that support compliance with the agency’s plans and effective peer review/quality improvement.
- Prepares for and coordinates site visits and audits.
- Coordinates and monitors compliance with regulatory and accrediting body standards related to quality assurance process, preparation for site visits, analysis of findings and development and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Monitors and reports on recovery outcomes.
- The QA Manager has oversight of the follow up team, tracking clients as part of a federally funded SOR Grant and internal client follow up program.
- Develop, plan, and execute special projects as assigned. Research and propose solutions to operational challenges working with program leaders in the organization.
- Communicate on progress of projects as required.
- Performs any related duties as required and assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
Job Qualifications:✨
- Must possess effective presentation and communication skills; ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility and the ability to converse with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
- Strong project management skills and experience.
- Structured, organized, and proactive; ability to review, investigate, implement corrective action and follow-through as appropriate.
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Excellent analytical skills, problem differentiation skills, and has a solution orientation that focuses on problem resolution for long-term sustainability of the agency.
- Ability to solve unexpected problems as they arise while considering liability, precedence, financial implications and other possible future impacts on the program, services or
- Ability to positively represent the agency in the community, in meetings/collaborations, and at outreach events.
Education/Experience:✨
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Administration is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in quality and risk management processes including implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Minimum 4 years’ management experience.
- Must have and maintain current, valid NM driver’s license. Must also have and maintain clean driving record as well as auto insurance.
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Have or ability to obtain and maintain a State of New Mexico Criminal Records Clearance (DOH CRC).
